How does it work?

Determine your eligibility for Chapter 7.
Filing for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy means some of your assets will be sold off to pay back lenders who you owe money to, so that your debt can be forgiven. To determine if you qualify for this type of bankruptcy we will examine your earnings and your expenses.
Attend your pre-bankruptcy credit counseling course.
Before filing for a Chapter 7 you must undertake a credit counselling session. When you hire Marble, we help you with this & the course is inclusive in our pricing.
Marble prepares the petition & files your paperwork.
We prepare and file your petition with the Bankruptcy Court. The petition contains: a request for chapter 7 bankruptcy relief and statements regarding various financial matters.
Prepare you for the meeting of creditors.
You will then be required to attend a Meeting of Creditors, where questions will be asked about the accuracy of the documents you have filed with the Court.
Court hearing to confirm your bankruptcy.
The process begins by speaking to a case manager and paralegal. You will need to provide us with documents so we can better understand the case.
